At Live The Magic Family Therapy, our mission is to support children through play and imagination—while empowering parents with the tools, confidence, and guidance they need.

Hi! My name is Christina Garcia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (Supervised by Angelica M. Tello, LPC-S). As a mother of a neurodivergent child, I personally understand the challenges many parents face when raising a little one. I’m passionate about helping children build strong emotional foundations early in life—so they can grow into confident, resilient individuals. When my own son was facing difficulties, I felt discouraged by the lack of resources for parents, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and educate myself on ways to advocate for him. Now, I am proudly advocating and helping families who are facing the same challenges I once faced.
Through my work, I’ve seen that children don’t always respond to traditional talk therapy. They open up through play, imagination, and connection. That’s why I created Live The Magic Family Therapy—a space where healing feels safe, creative, and empowering.

My goal is simple:
Help your child feel confident, capable, and understood.

Individual counseling can help your child navigate through life's challenges. We offer individual counseling services that are tailored to your specific needs. Whether they're struggling with anxiety, depression, or social skills, we're here to support your child and provide you with resources for use at home.

Group therapy can be a powerful way to connect with others who are going through similar challenges. Our group therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where you can share your experiences and learn from others. We offer a variety of group therapy services to meet your needs.

We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with us from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost one day before your medical service. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more questions or information about your right to Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or call The No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.
I see children as young as 4 years old. I utilize play based approaches to build rapport and create a playful environment for your children. My goal is to take the feeling of "being in trouble" when they come to counseling, and turn it into something fun that they look forward to!
At Live The Magic Family Therapy, I use a play therapy approaches to help children express emotions, process experiences, and build healthy coping skills in a way that feels natural and safe for them. Children do not always have the words to explain big feelings, worries, or difficult experiences, so play becomes their language. Through activities such as imaginative play, art, games, storytelling, and coloring, children are able to communicate, problem-solve, and practice new skills in a supportive environment.
Play therapy can help children improve emotional regulation, confidence, communication, social skills, and behavior while strengthening their connection with caregivers. Sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental level, personality, and unique needs. My goal is to create a warm, engaging space where children feel understood, empowered, and supported as they grow and heal.
